We are here. Safe and sound. We are currently driving the windig roads to S. Thomas, a 4 hour trip to our first destination. We will be staying in a hotel tonight-much more rustic than our normal hyatt place that we are used too. In fact I don’t know when I will be able to send this to actually show up on the world wide web. We pass houses that would not classify as sheds back home. The kids are running around, playing soccer, happy. Or sitting on their front porch that they share with cows and dogs. We just passed a little girl walking along this highway she can’t be any older than Ben and Sam. He students are excited for what tomorrow brings: our first medical clinic. I am excited as well. It is nostalgic for me to be here. With people who were last here with our dearest Tania. They share stories and I just can’t hear enough. Joyce and Bruce Ball are among these people. I can’t help but get emotional when I see Joyce. She was such a dear friend of Tania’s.
We hope to pull in to the hotel in an hour to get some planning and prep done and most importantly some sleep!
